Tam Eastley is a writer and web developer based in Berlin. She has most recently been published on The Wild Word, Visual Verse and Drunk Monkeys. She likes writing about reality TV, tech, and the post-apocalyptic world and is editing her way through her first novel. These days you can find her curled up in her snuggie in front of the Netflix fireplace show, reading a good book.
Alex Eastley is a bassoonist based in Montréal who performs in a wide range of styles including classical, contemporary and free improvisation. She has played with orchestras in North America, New Zealand and Europe, including the Orchestre Symphonique de Montréal, Atlanta Symphony Orchestra (GA), Auckland Philharmonia Orchestra (NZ), and the Hallé (Manchester, UK). She was Principal Bassoon of the Winnipeg Symphony Orchestra from 2007-2018. Inheritance, an album of improvised music recorded with her group Civvie, was released in 2017.

Craig Pedersen is a trumpet player and experimenting musician living in Montréal. He plays in the collaborative duos Sound of the Mountain (with Elizabeth Millar) and Provisional Mailorder (with Anne-F Jacques). He is a member of Ensemble Supermusique and the Ratchet Orchestra. He also occasionally leads the Craig Pedersen Quartet, a band featuring Mark Molnar (Kingdom Shore; Horseman, Pass By), Bennett Bedoukian (Horseman, Pass By) and Thierry Amar (GY!BE).

Jason de Koff is an associate professor of agronomy and soil science at Tennessee State University. He lives in Nashville, TN with his wife, Jaclyn, and his two daughters, Tegan and Maizie. He has published in a number of scientific journals, and has over 80 poems published or forthcoming in literary journals over the last year.

Brandon Auger (b.1978) - artist, improviser and structural builder based in Halifax, Nova Scotia. Working with sound as a medium, his minimalistic work promotes the amplification of electronic idiosyncrasies and vibrational nuances in both acoustic and synthetic environments.
Along with being an active member of suddenlyLISTEN and the improvising community in Canada, Auger’s main project pnl(a), has been a 20+ year study of tape/electronic music having released 7 albums to date. Brandon is also one half of the microsound group Strata (w/cellist Norm Adams) and the founder of Northern Apparatus, an improvising trio with Andrew MacKelvie and Danielle Jakubiak.
He has also worked greatly with members of Mocean Dance and Kinetic Studios, fusing his approach to sound with various choreographers in both compositional and improvised constructs. His compositions, installations, live performances and collaborative projects have spanned across both Canada and the U.S.

A diverse musician, oboist Catherine Lee has performed extensively as a solo, chamber, and orchestral musician on oboe, oboe d’amore, and English horn in a wide range of artistic settings, including classical, contemporary, and free improvisation. She is active in commissioning new solo works that explore experimental compositional and oboe performance techniques. Recent highlights include performing Nonaah Trio by Roscoe Mitchell at the Park Avenue Armory, and solo recitals at Open Space and Now Hear This Festival. Catherine is the Artist Associate of oboe at Willamette University, holds a Doctor of Music Degree from McGill University, and a certification from the Deep Listening Institute (New York). In May 2021 Catherine released the album Remote Together on Redshift Records which was nominated for a Juno (Classical Album of the Year - Solo Artist).

Shih-Li Kow lives in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia. Her short story collection Ripples and Other Stories (2008), was shortlisted for the 2009 Frank O’Connor International Short Story Award. Her second book The Sum of Our Follies (2014), was translated into Italian and French. The French edition (translated by Frederic Grellier) won the 2018 Prix du Premier Roman Etranger. Matt Hannafin (percussion) is a New York–born, Portland-based percussionist active in experimental music, improvisation, and Iranian classical and traditional music. Adrianne Munden-Dixon is an American violinist, improviser, and composer living in New York and Montreal. Her work often explores timbre, texture and energy in acoustic and electronic environments. She grew up playing notated and improvised music in Savannah, Georgia and still lives in and between those mediums as a solo and chamber musician. She is a founding member of Desdemona (“an excellent young quartet” The New Yorker) and has recently worked with the JACK Quartet, Cassie Wieland, Phong Tran, David Bird, Leo Chang, and more. Her first self-released EP patterns and cycles was described as “bright, colorful violin improvisations, each a compact vision” (The Road to Sound).
